Wild Water West

One day on vacation we headed north to Sioux Falls, South Dakota to a water park there.  This is a huge water park and it also includes bumper boats, go-carts, miniature golf, batting cages with your paid admission to the park.  This water park extravaganza was huge!  We left home in the morning and made the trip in about 2 hours and 15 minutes.  This park is actually located outside Sioux Falls in the middle of some cornfields.
I walked around shortly after we arrived and started taking photos so that I could put my camera away so that it would not get wet.  These slides were awesome.  Ashlin and Keith went down the large, high slide on the left (about six stories).  There was also a body slide and a tube slide.  Justin could go down the body slide with an adult which was awesome.
This pirate cove was a huge children's water feature.  It included slides and water spraying constantly.
There was a lazy river which the Leader's did enjoy.  There was a stop on the lazy river for adults only of a swim-up bar.  Unfortunately Keith and I did not partake in this area.
The park also had a zero entry pool for little ones with two lily pad crossings for kids.
The wave pool was enjoyed by all.  This wave pool was huge.  The park had life jackets available for free for all ages to use whenever necessary which was very nice.
After spending about 5-6 hours enjoying the park, we headed back south for home.  The kids loved the bumper boats, go-carts and the miniature golf also.  This park was well worth the trip to Sioux Falls.  We should have spent the night so that we could have enjoyed other parts of Sioux Falls, but maybe next time we can add to the trip.

Take care,
Michelle
