Spring Music Concert

Yes, I am still trying to get everything posted from the end of the school year.  I'm not sure why they schedule all of these activities in the last two weeks of school, but it runs our family ragged.  Almost every night we had an activity.
The Spring Music Concert had a cowboy/western theme this year.  Therefore, denim, hats, bandannas, boots, etc. were in order.  The students entertained the crowd with old cowboy songs.
The Kindergarten students sang "Big Rock Candy Mountain", "Jimmy Crack Corn" and "Buffalo Gals".  A few days later they walked to the convent and sang these songs for the "sisters".
The 3rd Grade students sang "Pecos Bill", "O, Susanna" and "Deep In The Heart of Texas".

The 5th Grade students sang "Railroad Medley" and "On The Road Again".
Along with the music, the students also had art work on display for the audience to view.

Take care,
Michelle

  1. What a fun concert. I completely feel your pain. In fact, I stopped blogging about end of the year school stuff because it was too overwhelming!
