Concordia University Volleyball Camp

Last Saturday, I drove a group of girls to a volleyball team camp at Concordia University in Seward.  This team camp was for our reserve team made up of freshmen and sophomores.
They played teams from David City Aquinas, Lincoln Lutheran, Palmyra and Lawrence Nelson.  They played three JV teams and two varsity teams.  It was a day to work on technique, get touches in and take chances.

They played hard and got a few pointers from one of the Concordia coaches. Concordia has a wonderful facility for a small college.  The girls also played some games in Seward's new middle school.  Both excellent facilities.

Now Cara has to get in 1,000 touches before practice starts in a few weeks.  Next week is max out week in the weight room, conditioning week the following week, and fall practice starts the week of the 17th.
Take care,
Michelle

  1. Wow - what a great opportunity for the girls. Maddy is going to play 8th grade volleyball. As a newbie, it will be a challenge for her, but she's looking forward to it.
