Music in the house

Our fall schedule is pretty hectic right now.  It seems that we have some activity almost every night after school.  Wednesday is piano lesson day.  Erica has joined Cara this fall at piano lessons.  The girls are taking lessons again from Mrs. Nissen.  She is also the K-3rd grade music teacher at the school. 

Today I have posted some photos from Cara's piano recital last spring.  She played Purple Cow, Fur Ludwig, and Boogie Woogie.

Cara waiting for her turn to perform.  The recital is always held at The Meadows, a retirement home.  The residents love to hear the students perform.  It gives them an evening of something to do, plus it gives the students an audience besides just parents.
