There will be no more babies at our house. That makes me a little sad to admit, but at the same time glad that we are past that stage with all of the kids. Last Saturday, the crib was taken down and stored away. We thought about selling the crib and matching dresser, but I'm like "what if" by chance there is another baby. This crib has been set up in a nursery for the past 9 1/2 years. Justin hasn't slept in the crib for the last few months, therefore, it was time to take it down. But, it still made me sad to store it away. I guess that stage of my life is over.
Now we move on to "Big Boy" things. Justin HATES being called a "baby" by his sisters. He even dislikes being called a "Little Boy". He is a "Big Boy". Granted he is not potty trained and is only 2 years old, but he thinks that he is a big boy.
Now if we can just get Daddy to let us turn it into a real "Big Boy" room.
Take care,
Michelle
ahhh. no more babies. :( sad. but YAY for Justin being a big boy! R. has been sleeping in a queen bed for about 3 months now. She loves it. She's been out of her crib for a while though. She didn't like it. :) Hopefully a "big boy" room will come soon!
ReplyDeleteWe're getting close to that, too. Makes me sad!
ReplyDeleteI think you should talk Keith into just one more baby! Justin needs a buddy his age!
ReplyDeleteI, on the other hand, was doing the happy dance when we took our crib down! I think the baby stage is wayyyyyy overrated! This mama needs sleep! I tried selling our crib on Craig's List but it didn't sell!
I am with you, it is makes me sad too. Alyssa was in her crib until she was almost three talk about denial! Good luck with the plans for a big boy room!
ReplyDeleteIt is a little sad to take down the baby crib! You better store "just in case!" :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great Wednesday!
