This weekend was Homecoming at Norfolk Catholic. It was a week filled with themed dress up days, the volleyball scrimmage, the cross country time trials and the first football game.
After the football game on Friday night, Cara and I came home to put her hair in rollers to get a jump start on her hair for Saturday night. It took over an hour to get her hair all rolled up. Cara had a group of girls taking out her rollers while I was working on Emma's hair and Ashlin was playing photographer. Then Saturday afternoon I started doing hair for Cara and her friend, Emma. They both had photos of the hairdos that they wanted. The photos were on their phones and so tiny that I could hardly see them. I told the girls that I first needed a larger photo and that I could make no promises how their hair would turn out, but I would try my best.
Cara wanted long and curly with her sides and bangs pulled back.
Emma wanted her bangs braided to the side and then a curly messy bun at the nape of her neck.
After doing hair for two hours, I took the girls over to Charlie's house to get dressed with some other classmates. Charlie's Mom and I curled Charlie's hair since together since she was running behind.
Then the girls were ready for a few snapshots before heading out for the evening of fun.
Take care,
Michelle
